I'm a 'can-do' person - always on the lookout for new ideas and ways to simplify and enhance processes. Finding win-win solutions, although not always possible, is my goal.
When faced with challenging decisions on the city council, I research the code of ordinances and previous decisions and relevant news and information. I listen closely to all parties and positions, as well as the educated discussions of the mayor and other council members. I ask lots of questions. I look for the solutions that align with the city's Master Plan - while being flexible enough to accomplish the best outcomes for the community.
